The Vision of the S.A.G.E.

Mission Statement

Our mission is to establish a S.A.G.E.— System of Autonomous Global Education. The development and style of the software/application in mind will be open-source, decentralized and distributed by a peer-to-peer network. This type of system would allow for a very dynamic educational system that is capable of fluctuating with economic incentives, learning biases and informational changes that occur through advances such as;

• Discovery

A global network of organized, secure and verifiable information creates a convenient method for educational based processes to be distributed, safe & practical. Many levels of inputs are acceptable— a change in the core values surrounding the projects by outsider opinions and influences is near impossible. The vision of the S.A.G.E. cannot be summed up better than this;

We do not believe in the suppression of ideas and talents. This system aims to prevent these types of issues in our society. There is no amount of money, status or privilege that would change our values and morals backing this project.

Knowledge is the Revolution

Technology elevates humanity every time we advance. It only takes a few small inventions before a complete overhaul of a previous idea or thought process. You could say we are ahead of ourselves a bit too much. Overstepping our boundaries and creating deficits where there shouldn't be. Wealth disparity is a clear symptom of this disrupted system. Clear advantages exist for the wealthy simply because they can procure more knowledge than the average individual. Insider trading of valuable information is just as dangerous to society as with corporate bodies.

Past revolutions represent a boil up around freedoms, liberty, perpetual exploits and class division. When the masses grow wise to the state, they revolt against the leaders or the royalty. The internet has brought us unimaginable access to information and knowledge. Our ancestors would be astonished at the sheer scale and amount of data that we now possess. However, they might be upset at the quality of organization of what is valuable and what is not.

Knowledge needs separation from simple information. The sea of misinformation vastly overcasts the valid and valuable data that we possess. There are plenty of tools on the web to attain this knowledge. Although not many tools have designs for the transmission of accurate and valuable information in a certifiable manner. Concerning the blockchain and hyperledger infrastructure, we can assume and model a precise and efficient system for transmitting verifiable information.
